Fair Comment Policy
The reports, columns, editorials, and other content found in our website may provide an opportunity to the User to comment. However, comments are moderated and may appear when, if, and only if, they are approved by the News Editor.
We reserve the absolute right to un-approve, edit, delete, or otherwise remove or obscure any comment at any time and for any reason. The User who submits comments to us irrevocably grants us the non-exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works from, and otherwise use a User’s comments for any purpose in any form and in any media.
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Consumer Litigation Group and its journalists and staff from any claims, lawsuits, complaints, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, expenses, attorney’s fees and/or litigation costs (hereinafter “claims”) arising out of or related to claims filed or asserted by any third party relating to any comment User posted or attempted to post.
The User is prohibited from posting or attempting to post comments that infringe on the rights of third parties, including their intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. The User is prohibited from posting or attempting to post comments that are unlawful, obscene, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful, or embarrassing to any other person or entity. The User is prohibited from posting or attempting to post any advertisement, solicitation, or comment that is off topic or not germane to the subject matter.
Consumer Litigation Group reserves the absolute right to edit, revise, or change its Fair Comment Policy without notices, for any reason, and at any time.
